Tickets

Thank you for your interest in our live shows and events.

We hope you have a great time.

If you have any queries about tickets or attending our shows, please contact us at band@fictiontree.co.uk. Please do also check the terms and conditions below for further information.

In this section, words like ‘holder’, ‘bearer’, ‘purchaser’, ‘you’ and ‘your’ will refer to you – the person who will buy the tickets to a Fiction Tree event. On the other hand, ‘our’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘issuer’, ‘provider’ and similar terms will indicate the organisers of Fiction Tree events.

Please note that we reserve the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from this set of terms and conditions – without any prior notifications to you. Such changes will be duly reflected on the website of the organiser (https://www.fictiontree.co.uk). These changes will relate back to the date of purchase of your tickets.

Entry To An Event

Online Tickets: Please keep a copy of your order confirmation email incase of any queries. We will also send out a confirmation email near the time of the event with final details for the event and your booking reference. Please bring this with you – we’d recommend on your phone, but a print out is fine if that’s not convenient. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours of the event, then please contact us at band@fictiontree.co.uk.

Physical Tickets: If you have purchased a ticket from one of our sales venues then you must present your ticket at the door to gain entry.

Age Restrictions: Most venues for our events have an over 18s only age policy. Please check before you purchase whether it is suitable for under 18s if you wish to bring them. ID with proof of age may be required to gain entry.

Ticket Purchase and Entry

By opting to purchase, allocate or possess tickets to a Fiction Tree event, you automatically agree to our terms of use. If you have problems with any of the clauses listed below or do not agree with the risk allocations mentioned here, please do not purchase tickets or try to enter the event premises.

Tickets may only be purchased from us, via our website or from venues authorised by us in writing. Once payment has been received in full, online orders will receive an order confirmation email and a follow up email with final event details, entry information and any references nearer the time. Physical ticket sales will be presented with printed tickets at point of sale. Tickets purchased or obtained any other way, or from any other source, may be refused entry or cancelled without refund or compensation.

The price of one ticket is as stated at the time of purchase. This figure is non-negotiable.

We reserve the right to limit, at the time of purchase, the maximum number of tickets any person may purchase for our events. Tickets may be limited per person, per payment card and/or per household. We reserve the right to cancel any tickets purchased in breach of this condition.

You may be asked to provide additional information about your ticket purchase at the doors to ensure you are the correct recipient of the ticket(s). You may also need to provide ID and proof of age to gain entry.

The ticket you purchase represents a revocable license for you to access the venue listed on the dates advertised for the event to be hosted. The license includes the revocable right to attending the specific event. This license can be revoked at any time by the issuer at its sole discretion, without any prior notifications or compensation options. If the license is revoked, you will not be granted entry at the venue.

Please note that tickets cannot be redeemed against cash, credits, or any other benefits.

Reselling Tickets

We would prefer you not to resell tickets unless absolutely necessary but, if you do wish to resell your ticket(s), they may only be resold at a maximum of the face value of your ticket. You must also provide us with your name and order details, and the name and email of the person you have resold them to as they may be refused entry if we can’t link their name with a purchaser. Please send this to band@fictiontree.co.uk.

Ticket Refunds

You are not entitled to a refund if you change your mind about going to an event, or realise you can’t go anymore.

Refunds can only be issued under the following circumstances:

  • If the event is cancelled
  • If the event is rescheduled
  • If the event venue is changed

Refunds will only be for the face value of your ticket. If you purchased your ticket online, refunds will often be processed automatically if the event is cancelled. For physical purchases, please contact us at band@fictiontree.co.uk with details of where you purchased your ticket. Any other items ordered with the same order cannot be reimbursed or any shipping costs (tickets have no shipping costs). The bearer cannot, under any circumstances, claim refunds on shipping fees, processing fees, handling fees, and such other charges.

Refunds will not be issues under any circumstances after the event has started or once the event has taken place.

Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

If an event is cancelled due to any factors or causes not in the control of the issuer, the latter will offer a partial or full refund, or postpone the event, or provide a comparable ‘make good’ option. These factors will be inclusive of, but not limited to, natural disasters, state announcements, strikes, delays in production, and the like. Once again, the decision of Fiction Tree will be considered final.

If the event has to be rescheduled to other dates, you will have the option to keep your ticket for the new date(s) or you can request a refund. In case the event is fully cancelled, the refund, if issued, will include ONLY the face value/printed value of the ticket(s).
